Just got your brand new Seagate hard drive? You can connect the hard drive to your iPad Pro and back up all your data. You can also view the contents on the drive wirelessly. Proceed with the steps that are given below to connect Wireless Pro hard drive to iPad Pro. 

  1. Press the Power button on the Seagate hard drive to turn it on.
  2. Once the drive turns on, the Wi-Fi LED on the drive will start blinking.
  3. When the Wi-Fi light turns solid blue, it means the Wi-Fi feature on the drive has been enabled.
  4. You don’t need a wireless router to connect your Seagate drive and iPad Pro.
  5. Now, you can connect your iPad Pro directly to the Wi-Fi of the Seagate hard drive.
  6. Unlock your iPad Pro and go the Settings window.
  7. Select Wi-Fi and choose the Seagate Wireless network from the displayed list.
  8. Now, open the App Store application.
  9. Search for Seagate Media and select the app. Then, tap Get.
  10. Once the Seagate Media app is installed, you will be able to access the contents on the drive.
  11. You can now set a password for your Seagate hard drive.
  12. Tap the Settings icon on the Seagate Media app.
  13. Select Network and tap the ‘Turn on password’ or ‘Enable Password’ option.
  14. Make sure to choose a secured password that contains at least eight alphanumeric characters. You can also include symbols in the password for additional protection.
  15. Now, the contents on the Seagate drive will be protected.
  16. You can back up your photos and videos from the iPad Pro to the Seagate drive.
  17. To view the contents on the Seagate drive, open the Seagate Media app.
  18. Select your favorite videos and stream them.
